Two days of rock, pop, and electronic music at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples
Since 2016, the Noisy Naples Fest has been the musical highlight of the summer in Campania's capital. Conceived as a series of major open-air concerts, it has brought some of the most influential names in the Italian and international scene to the City of Naples, showcasing a mix of pop, rock, rap, indie, and electronic music. Its historic home is the Arena Flegrea, an open-air amphitheater with nearly 6,000 seats nestled within the Mostra d'Oltremare complex, one of Italy's most scenic live music venues.
With the 2026 edition, Noisy takes the biggest leap in its history: alongside the individual concerts at the Arena Flegrea, a two-day urban festival is born. Held on July 23rd and 24th, it is hosted on the Viale delle 28 Fontane and the square in front of the Teatro Mediterraneo within the Mostra d'Oltremare. This much larger area can accommodate up to 15,000 people per night, featuring multiple stages, DJ sets between live acts, dining areas, and a setup designed to bring together different generations and musical genres.
The festival takes place in Fuorigrotta, in the western part of Naples, just a short walk from the Diego Armando Maradona stadium and Piazzale Tecchio. The Mostra d'Oltremare, an exhibition complex inaugurated in 1940 and famous for its monumental avenues, fountains, and rationalist pavilions, returns to being a major rock venue after years of hiatus. Walking among the pools of the Viale delle 28 Fontane while the sound of an international band fills the air is one of the most iconic images of a Neapolitan summer.
The Noisy formula alternates between foreign headliners and stars of the Italian music scene. In recent years, the Arena Flegrea has hosted diverse projects, from British trip-hop to American rock, and from Neapolitan singer-songwriter music to rap. The 2026 two-day event perfectly captures this spirit: the stage will feature the club-rock of Franz Ferdinand, the energy of Skunk Anansie, the return of Bluvertigo, the Britpop of Kasabian, and the electronica of Subsonica and Planet Funk.
The Noisy Naples brand is not limited to the two-day event in July: throughout the summer, the Arena Flegrea hosts a series of festival-branded events, with concerts running from late June to September. This is one of the reasons why Noisy has become a benchmark for live programming in Southern Italy, attracting audiences not only from the Naples metropolitan area but from all over Campania and neighboring regions.
Attending a Noisy Naples Fest concert means combining two pleasures: great live music and a summer evening in Naples. With the Phlegraean Fields, the Posillipo waterfront, and the historic center just a few minutes away by subway, the festival is perfect for a weekend in the city, between beaches, historic pizzerias, and archaeology. It is an opportunity to discover a contemporary Naplesโnoisy in the best sense of the word.
For its ninth edition, the Noisy Naples Fest changed its skin: no longer a series of individual concerts but a continuous two-day event, on July 23rd and 24th, 2026, on the Viale delle 28 Fontane of the Mostra d'Oltremare, in Fuorigrotta. A space much larger than the Arena Flegrea, with a capacity of up to 15,000 people per night, double stages, dining areas, and DJ sets filling every break between live acts.
The lineup focused on a mix of international rock and cult Italian projects. The first evening brought together Franz Ferdinand, for their first time in Naples, Skunk Anansie, returning to the city after 2019, and Bluvertigo with their only Campania date of the reunion tour. The second evening was headlined by Kasabian, in their only Italian summer date of 2026, Subsonica, and Planet Funk, touring with their new album.
Alongside the main acts, the festival built a parallel program of DJ sets and aftershows, with the Noisy Wave Experience formula linking the festival to a day at the beach, and sectors including the Martini Lounge Area, Pit Gold, Red Zone, and Green Zone, the latter of which sold out well in advance.
