The idea is simple and effective: choose a street and a small square in the center, set up lights and tables, bring in open-air music, and invite the whole town to spend the evening together, without grand stages or formalities. The result is a convivial event immersed in the beauty of the village, where the atmosphere matters far more than the program.

Sharing and rediscovering local traditions

The guiding principle declared by the organizers is sharing and the rediscovery of local traditions. It is not a music festival with big names, but a community celebration where music accompanies strolling, chatting with neighbors, and moments shared under the summer sky. The choice to start while it is still daylight is intentional: it allows families with children to participate in the first part of the evening, while the younger crowd joins after dinner, when the temperature drops and the village lights up.

San Lorenzello sits at an altitude of about 250 meters along the Titerno River and shares a centuries-old tradition of artistic ceramics with nearby Cerreto Sannita, earning it recognition as one of Italy's official centers for ceramics. For the town, it is a sort of unofficial opening of the most intense period of the summer, when emigrants and former residents return, and the village reaches its peak vitality. The reference to the stars, after all, blends naturally with the Night of Saint Lawrence and the tradition of shooting stars.
