Vicenza's New Year's Eve has adopted a new format: a large free party spread throughout the city's historic centre, which comes alive on New Year's Eve with stages, DJ sets, and live music. The heart of the events is Piazza dei Signori, with the famous Torre Bissara illuminated by projections during the midnight countdown.
Children's New Year's Eve
One of the most beloved new features is the Children's New Year's Eve, which brings acrobats, circus workshops, magic shows, and street performers to the square in the afternoon, with an early countdown at 6:59 PM: this way, families can also celebrate the arrival of the new year without waiting until midnight.
Four Stages, One City
The party unfolds across multiple locations—from Contrà Cavour to Ponte San Michele, from Piazzetta Parise to the Pescherie Vecchie—each with its own programme of DJs and music until the early hours. The activities also involve the businesses in the centre, making Vicenza and its monumental 'drawing room' the protagonists of the longest night of the year.

For New Year's Eve 2025-2026, Vicenza chose the new format of a free party in the historic centre, with "four stages and one square". From the afternoon, the Children's New Year's Eve in Piazza dei Signori, with acrobats, circus workshops, and magic, and the early countdown at 6:59 PM. At midnight, projections on the Torre Bissara to welcome the new year.
The night continued with DJ sets until 1:30 AM in various locations in the centre, from electronic music by the Eora project on the bridges to DJs in the alleys.

How to Get There
Vicenza's historic centre is a short walk from the train station. By car, it's best to use the car parks on the outskirts of the centre, which is closed to traffic during the celebration.
