The party takes place in Piazzale Italia, in the pedestrianized heart of Sottomarina, and accompanies the transition to the new year with music, entertainment, and fireworks.
Live Music and DJ Sets
From 10 PM to 2 AM, the stage in Piazzale Italia hosts a show with DJ sets and live bands, in collaboration with Radio Company. The square fills with people dancing and toasting together in the open air, in a festive atmosphere that involves residents and tourists.
Fireworks on the Beach
At the stroke of midnight, the show moves to the beach, with fireworks illuminating the Sottomarina coastline. The centre is pedestrianized for the occasion, and an anti-firecracker ordinance is in effect throughout the municipality for a safe, family-friendly celebration. A spectacular way to start the year by the sea on the Veneto Upper Adriatic coast.

New Year's Eve 2026 in Sottomarina welcomed the new year in Piazzale Italia, in the pedestrianized heart of the Chioggia district (VE). From 10 PM to 2 AM, the stage hosted the Wonder Company show by Radio Company, with DJ sets by Ale De Biasi and Leo and live music by the Novaluna Party Band. At midnight, fireworks were launched from the Astoria beach establishment. An anti-firecracker ordinance was in effect throughout the Municipality.
