The National Motorcycle Meeting for the Anti-Polio Campaign brings to Serra de' Conti, a small village in the Vallesina area near Ancona, two days where the passion for motorcycles serves an important cause. Also known by the motto "Full throttle, united for good", the event attracts two-wheel enthusiasts from all over Italy for a weekend of tourist rides, conviviality, and fundraising.
A Cause That Goes Beyond Two Wheels
The initiative stems from the collaboration between local Motorcycle Clubs and the Rotary Club of Senigallia: the entire proceeds of the event are donated to the international campaign END POLIO NOW, Rotary's project that has been fighting to eradicate polio worldwide for decades. Local motorcyclists have already demonstrated their solidarity in the past, mobilizing during the Monti Sibillini earthquake and the Senigallia flood: the Motorcycle Meeting continues this community spirit.
Through the Marche Hills
The event's headquarters is the Centro Sociale L'Incontro, at Via Ezio Vanoni 24 in Serra de' Conti. From here, tourist rides depart, traversing the scenic roads of the Vallesina hills, offering participants picturesque views of the Marche landscape. The program also includes a visit to the Toy Museum in the hamlet of Piticchio, in Arcevia, one of the area's hidden gems.
Conviviality and Celebration
In addition to the rides on two wheels, the Motorcycle Meeting is above all a moment of shared celebration: collective dinners, DJ sets, a solidarity lunch, and greetings from authorities mark the two days. The event is held under the auspices of the Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI) and enjoys the patronage of the Marche Region and the Municipalities of Ostra and Serra de' Conti.

How to Get There
Serra de' Conti can be reached by car/motorcycle from the SS76 (Vallesina exit) and from the A14 motorway (Senigallia toll booth, about 40 minutes). The nearest train station is Senigallia, on the Adriatic line.
