Edition 2025 — Fat Ox Fair

The 115th National Fat Ox Fair took place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Carrù. From the first light of dawn, the Foro Boario in Piazza Mercato hosted the parade of Piedmontese breed oxen, with judging and awards, while in the historic center, the Non-Stop Bollito served about 600 kg of meat amidst markets and tastings.

The 2025 edition of the National Fat Ox Fair, the 115th, animated Carrù on Thursday, December 11, 2025. As per tradition, the day began at dawn with the movement of the animals and the livestock exhibition of Piedmontese breed oxen and slaughter steers in the renovated Foro Boario of Piazza Mercato.

The jury awarded prizes to the breeders, culminating in the Golden Ox award, while the World Fat Ox Auction attracted expert buyers from the sector. Throughout the day, the historic center hosted the market of typical products and the famous Non-Stop Bollito, with about 600 kg of meat transformed into the monumental Piedmontese mixed boiled meats.
