About Natale Magico
A fairytale Christmas in Desio
'Natale Magico' is the rich Christmas program that enlivens Desio (province of Monza and Brianza) from late November until January 6th. Promoted by the Municipality, it transforms the city centre into an enchanted path made of spectacular illuminations, giant installations, markets, music, and initiatives for children.
Illuminations, tree, and ice rink
The protagonists are the illuminations, with luminous figures up to three metres tall dedicated to the most beloved fairytale characters: The Little Prince, The Nutcracker, the Gingerbread Man, and the reindeer Rudolph. The official lighting kicks off the celebration in Piazza Conciliazione with a dedicated show. Among the attractions, there is the ice skating rink, open until Epiphany, and a little train that travels through the centre on certain days.
Santa Claus's House, markets, and shows
In Piazza Conciliazione, you'll find Santa Claus's House, while lights, decorated trees, and Christmas markets wind through the streets of the centre and neighbourhoods. The schedule includes concerts, exhibitions, storytelling for children, bagpipers, stilt walkers, and many other events. 'Natale Magico' is now a winter classic in Desio, capable of drawing families and visitors from all over Brianza to the centre in an atmosphere of celebration and wonder.
Natale Magico — edition 2026
In 2026, Desio is preparing once again to experience its 'Natale Magico', with the city centre transformed into an enchanted path from late November until January 6th. The program will feature spectacular illuminations with fairytale characters, the lighting of the tree in Piazza Conciliazione, the ice skating rink, Santa Claus's House, markets, concerts, street performances, and activities for children. The detailed schedule with dates and times will be published by the Municipality of Desio in the weeks preceding the event's start.
