The Sagra di San Fermo in Albiate, in the province of Monza and Brianza, is one of the oldest events in all of Brianza: it has been celebrated continuously since 1609. A rare continuity, which makes it an identity event and a living testament to the agricultural culture of the territory.
The festival in Parco di Villa Campello
The festival takes place in the Parco di Villa Campello and around the Sanctuary of San Fermo. The program reflects the rural roots of the festival: the livestock show with animals on display, the evocative tractor parade with traditional blessing, and gastronomic competitions dedicated to typical dishes. There are also activities for children, with old-fashioned wooden games, inflatables, creative workshops, and sensory paths.
Between market, food, and community
The market with stalls, themed exhibitions, catering services, and many family initiatives are held alongside the traditional events. Organized by the Associazione Amici di San Fermo APS in collaboration with the Municipality of Albiate, the festival is a complete celebration that combines memory, devotion, and fun, and which every year brings one of Brianza's longest-standing traditions back to life.
