Natale a Bassano is the major Christmas event that enlivens the historic center for over a month, from the lighting ceremony until Epiphany, with a widespread program of markets, shows, and traditions.

The markets in Piazza Libertà and Piazza Garibaldi

The heart of the event is the wooden chalets set up between Piazza Libertà and Piazza Garibaldi, managed by Confcommercio Bassano: crafts, decorations, delicacies, and gift ideas. In Piazza Libertà stands the eighteen-meter-high Christmas tree, a symbol of the lighting ceremony that kicks off the festivities.

Epiphany, skating, and the little train

From December 29th to January 6th, Piazza Garibaldi hosts the traditional Epiphany Market. For families, there's the ice skating rink in Piazza Castello and the miniature train that travels through the center, while the streets fill with lights and events for all ages.
