Brescia becomes an open-air stage for a day
For a whole day, Brescia becomes an open-air stage thanks to the Festa della Musica, the event that brings music to every corner of the city. Organized by the Festa della Musica Brescia Association, founded in 2014 on the model of the famous European music festival, the event takes place in the historic center and adjacent neighborhoods of the Lombard capital.
The scale of the event is impressive: over 3,000 artists and bands perform on more than 80 stages located throughout the city. Each musician has half an hour for their performance, in a continuous flow that fills streets and squares with live music, in the most evocative locations of Brescia.
The Festa della Musica knows no genre boundaries: pop and soul, rock and jazz, funky and dance, electronic, folk, and band music coexist in the same day and the same urban space. It is a deeply democratic celebration: participation is free for artists and listening is free for the public, in full accordance with the original spirit of the event.
More than a lineup, the Festa della Musica is a great collective ritual that involves professional and amateur musicians, emerging bands, and music schools. Accompanied by musical workshops for children and initiatives in libraries, the event contributes to making Brescia a city that lives music as a common good and as an opportunity for encounter between generations and neighborhoods.
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, Brescia once again becomes an open-air stage with the Festa della Musica. Over 3,000 artists and bands perform on more than 80 stages located between the historic center and adjacent neighborhoods, in an explosion of sounds that involves the entire city.
All genres are represented: pop and soul, rock and jazz, funky and dance, electronic, folk, and band music. Each musician has 30 minutes (plus 10 for stage change) for their performance. Participation is free for artists and entry is free for the public.
The more than 80 scattered stages, the 3,000 artists in the city, and the variety of musical genres in a single day.
