MU.S.A. – Music, Performance and Arts is the festival that the ZolAuditorium in Zola Predosa, a municipality in the Bolognese belt in Emilia-Romagna, dedicates to new generations of musicians. Created to provide space and visibility for emerging projects, MU.S.A. transforms the stage in Piazza della Repubblica into a showcase for young people who want to be discovered by the public, performing live in front of an attentive and curious audience.

How the Festival Works

The heart of MU.S.A. is a selection through a public call: candidate bands are chosen and invited to perform during the festival evenings. The protagonists are young musicians, performers, singer-songwriters aged 15 to 35, who alternate on stage in entirely live concerts. The goal is twofold: to offer emerging groups a concrete opportunity for professional performance and to allow the audience to discover new sounds and projects, often rooted in the territory of the province of Bologna.

ZolAuditorium, A Home for Culture

The event is held at the ZolAuditorium, Zola Predosa's cultural space, known as Spazio Binario until 2024. Since 2022, the artistic and organizational direction has been entrusted to the association CreAzione Teatro, which has transformed the auditorium into a community hub with programming ranging from drama to comedy, from music to children's theatre. MU.S.A. is one of the events that go beyond the subscription season and specifically target a young audience.

A Network of Local Realities

The festival is the result of collaboration between the Municipality of Zola Predosa, the Tatami social cooperative, and the CreAzione Teatro association. This synergy between public bodies, the third sector, and cultural associations demonstrates the Municipality's commitment to youth policies and the promotion of live music. Free admission makes MU.S.A. an event open to all, designed to introduce even families and younger audiences to the emerging scene.
