A motorcycle rally in the heart of the Sibillini

The Motoincontro Città di Visso is an event dedicated to two-wheel enthusiasts held in Visso, a charming mountain village in the Province of Macerata, in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains National Park. Organized by the Moto Club Franco Uncini of Recanati, the event has been a great success since its first edition, with over 400 motorcyclists gathered in the central Piazza dei Martiri Vissani. The event is combined with the Andrea Pavoni Memorial, in memory of a young motorcyclist who passed away, and represents a moment of shared passion, friendship, and solidarity.

The day's program

The rally opens in the morning with the gathering of participants and registrations in Visso's main square, accompanied by a welcome breakfast. This is followed by greetings from the municipal administration and the departure for the scenic tourist tour through the roads and landscapes of the Sibillini Mountains. The route includes a first stop at the Caseificio Pastorello di Cupi, where participants can discover the local dairy excellences, and then reach the Rifugio Saliere di Frontignano, located at an altitude of approximately 1,370 meters. The day concludes with awards and a convivial lunch at altitude.

An event of rebirth for the territory

More than just a motorcycle rally, the Motoincontro Città di Visso has a strong symbolic value for a community that has experienced the effects of the 2016 earthquake firsthand. Bringing hundreds of people back to the streets and mountains of Visso means supporting the rebirth of a village with an ancient history, known for the Collegiata di Santa Maria, its churches, and the precious Leopardi manuscripts kept in the civic museum. The event celebrates both the unspoiled beauty of the Sibillini and the warm hospitality of the Marche region.
