In the small village of Tassarolo, nestled among the vineyard-covered hills of the Gavi region in the province of Alessandria, the Mother's Day and Flower Festival has become a highly anticipated spring tradition. Promoted by the Paolo Spinola Nursery School in collaboration with the Municipality of Tassarolo and the Luigi Cavriani primary school, the event celebrates the bond between mothers and their children through a day of play, creativity, and reading.

A day of workshops and stories

The heart of the festival is a series of free creative workshops, interspersed with read-aloud sessions. Little ones, accompanied by their mothers, can unleash their imagination by creating floral-themed crafts, while the stories read aloud offer moments of shared listening. All necessary materials are provided by the school, so families only need to bring their enthusiasm.

An event for the whole community

Although it began as an initiative linked to the nursery school, the Mother's Day and Flower Festival is open to all families, including those from outside the village. The event takes place at the Circolino and the adjacent square in the center of Tassarolo, held in two sessions throughout the day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
