The most beloved festival in Franciacorta

In the heart of Franciacorta, the village of Monticelli Brusati, in the Province of Brescia, hosts its annual Monticelli Festival: a full week of celebration, friendship, good food, and fun for all ages. Now in its twenty-fifth edition, it's the event that brings together the entire village community, amidst the vineyard-covered hills that have made Franciacorta famous.

Seven days of food and shows

Every evening, food stalls are open, offering local specialties, accompanied by music and shows. The evenings feature concerts, tombola (bingo), and entertainment, while for children and families, there are traditional games, a charity raffle, and activities like "Monticelli Comics". The week concludes with the grand final lottery with valuable prizes.

Sports and tournaments for everyone

Alongside the gastronomy, the festival offers a packed sports program: football tournaments, mini-volleyball, archery, the fun human foosball, a running race, and games between the village districts. This aspect involves both young and old, strengthening the community spirit that animates the event.

A festival of volunteerism

The Monticelli Festival is made possible by the volunteers from the parishes of Ss. Simone and Giuda and S. Giovanni Evangelista, by the Festival Committee, and by all the people who enthusiastically collaborate each year. More than just a local fair, it's the expression of a village that makes participation and solidarity its founding values, in one of the most fascinating wine regions of Lombardy.
