Montecalvo Festival

Organized with the patronage of the Municipality of Castelnuovo Parano, the Province of Frosinone, the Lazio Region, and the XIX Mountain Community "L'Arco degli Aurunci," in collaboration with the Pro Loco and local associations, the 45th edition of the Montecalvo Festival reaffirmed the village's bond with its traditions.

For an entire day, the historic center was transformed into a journey of flavors: the tables offered laina e ceci, a typical dish of Ciociaria cuisine, along with arrosticini, fried pizza, supplì, arancini, and more elaborate dishes such as seafood lasagna, stewed octopus, and grilled pork ribs, all accompanied by local wines and craft beer.

The alleys were enlivened by Christmas markets with handicrafts, roaming music, and, from the afternoon, entertainment dedicated to children. In the evening, concerts by Difetto Xfetto and the Queen Project closed a day of celebration in the heart of the Monti Aurunci.

Sunday, December 28, 2025 — 45th edition

From 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the historic center of Castelnuovo Parano hosted the traditional Food and Wine Trail, a gourmet itinerary through the village alleys.

Gourmet Trail

• Laina e ceci, the signature dish of Ciociaria tradition
• Arrosticini, fried pizza, supplì, and arancini

• Selection of local wines and craft beer

Music and entertainment

• Roaming music along the alleys and Christmas markets with handicrafts
• From 2:00 PM — children's entertainment
• 5:00 PM — Difetto Xfetto, folk-rock band
• 6:30 PM — Queen Project, Queen tribute band
