A night of celebration in the heart of Val Tidone
The Monteboys Party is one of the most beloved events of the Piacenza summer, attracting hundreds of participants every year to the playground area of Pecorara, a picturesque hamlet in the Municipality of Alta Val Tidone, in the Province of Piacenza, in the hilly hinterland of Emilia-Romagna. Originally a village festival animated by the Pro Loco and the local community, it has become one of the hottest nights of the season over the years: a very long night dedicated to music and good food, designed to entertain guests until dawn.
Live music and DJ sets until morning
The formula is now well-established: it starts at 8 PM with the food stalls open to taste typical local first and second courses, then the evening gets into full swing with live band performances and continues with DJ sets that keep the dance floor alive until morning. Past editions have seen local bands and guests perform on stage, transforming the playground into a large open-air party, with lights, beer, and good music.
The novelty: the Outdoor Festival and Street Boulder
From 2026, the Monteboys Party will gain a sporting dimension with the Outdoor Festival and the fourth edition of the Piacentino Street Boulder, a climbing event that, after its first editions in Nibbiano, moves to Pecorara, integrating for the first time into the festival's program. "Urban climbers" can test themselves on the numerous routes set up among the charming stone walls of the village, challenging their technique, strength, and creativity in a truly unique setting. Participants will receive a rich race kit.
A village to discover
Pecorara and Alta Val Tidone offer visitors a charming hilly landscape, made up of stone villages, trails, and typical products. The Monteboys Party is the perfect opportunity to discover this corner of the Piacenza Apennines, combining the conviviality of a village festival, good Emilian cuisine, and, from this year, the energy of urban climbing.

Monteboys Party — edition 2026
For 2026, the Monteboys Party returns to Pecorara, in the Municipality of Alta Val Tidone (Province of Piacenza), on Saturday, June 27, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated summer festivals in the area. The big news this year is the Outdoor Festival: the party welcomes the fourth edition of the Piacentino Street Boulder, which after Nibbiano moves to Pecorara.
"Urban climbers" can test themselves on the numerous routes set up among the charming stone walls of the village, challenging their technique, strength, and creativity; participants will receive a rich prize package. The classic formula of the evening remains confirmed, with food stalls open from late afternoon, live music, and DJ sets animating the party until late at night.

How to get there
The event takes place in the playground area of Pecorara, a hamlet of the Municipality of Alta Val Tidone (PC). By car from Piacenza, take the Val Tidone towards the hills; the village is reachable from the provincial road that crosses the valley. In past editions, a free night shuttle service has been activated.
Admission and times
Admission to the festival is free. Food stalls open from 8 PM; music continues with live bands and DJ sets until morning. For Street Boulder, registration and details are published on the official social media channels (@streetboulderpc).
Tips
Comfortable clothing is recommended for the outdoor evening. For climbing enthusiasts, bring your own bouldering shoes.
