The granfondo of the Euganean Hills
Monselice in Rosa MTB is the most important mountain bike event in the Euganean area and, according to the organizers, the only international MTB granfondo in Veneto. It takes place every spring with the start from Monselice, in the province of Padua, and crosses the trails of the Euganean Hills.
UCI Marathon and granfondo
The race offers multiple routes: a Marathon valid as an UCI International event, a national Granfondo, and a cycle-touring route open to e-bikes. The routes are described as 'tough, exciting, and spectacular', with very hard climbs alternating with technical descents that test legs and tactics.
An organizational machine
The event is organized by ASD Atheste Bike of Este and involves over 400 people in logistics and route management. The course is curated by Gianluca Barbieri; the route manager is Giampaolo Ruzzarin. An event that combines sport, hilly landscape, and hospitality, capable of attracting enthusiasts far beyond regional borders.
Monselice in Rosa MTB — edition 2026
The 7th edition of Monselice in Rosa MTB is confirmed for Sunday, May 31, 2026, with the Marathon starting at 9:00 AM and the granfondo following. The event is part of several circuits (Rampitek, Deltos Cup, Appennino Superbike, Prealpi Bike Challenge) and is dedicated to the memory of Riccardo Iannuzzi, a historic figure in local organization.
