About L'Euganega

L'Euganega is the gravel event that every September starts from Monselice, in the province of Padua, to cross the white roads and trails of the Euganean Hills. A non-competitive ride open to gravel bikes, mountain bikes, e-MTBs, and historic bicycles, with routes of varying lengths and a free pace, focused on discovering the Venetian hilly landscape.

Gravel cycling among the Euganean Hills

L'Euganega is the gravel event that every September brings hundreds of cyclists to Monselice, in the province of Padua, starting from Parco Buzzaccarini. A non-competitive ride, with a free pace, along the white roads, country tracks, and secondary roads of the Euganean Hills.

Routes and bicycles for everyone

The event offers various routes for length and elevation gain and is open to gravel bikes, mountain bikes, e-MTBs, and historic bicycles, with a category dedicated to vintage cycling at a retro pace. A joyful day of cycling and nature, more than a race.

A celebration of cycling and the territory

Organized by a group of passionate volunteers from the Euganean Hills, with the patronage of the Italian Cycling Federation, L'Euganega combines the spirit of cycle tourism with the valorization of the territory, amidst hilly landscapes, villages, and typical local products from the Monselice area.

L'Euganega — edition 2026

The 4th edition of L'Euganega takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, starting at 8:30 AM from Parco Buzzaccarini in Monselice. Four routes through the Euganean Hills: long (120 km, 1,600 m D+), medium (90 km, 1,200 m), short (70 km, 800 m), and vintage cycling (110 km, 1,000 m). Open to gravel, MTB, e-MTB, and historic bikes.

The 4th edition of L'Euganega takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, with a start at 8:30 AM from Parco Buzzaccarini in Monselice. The gravel event offers a day of free-paced cycling through the white roads of the Euganean Hills.

Four routes are available, open to gravel bikes, MTB, e-MTB, and historic bicycles. The previous edition attracted around 500 participants.

How to get there

Monselice is located at the foot of the Euganean Hills, in the province of Padua, served by the Bologna–Padua railway station and the A13 motorway. The start is from Parco Buzzaccarini.
