Landscape Magic in the Euganean Hills
The Mira Festival – Landscape Magic is the event that Torreglia, a municipality in the province of Padua within the Euganean Hills Regional Park, dedicates to the discovery of its landscape. It takes place at the end of May and offers an original format that intertwines culture, nature, and history along a path leading up to Colle della Mira.
A Path Through Villas, Churches, and Views
The accessible and marked trail winds through the villas and gardens of Torreglia (Villa Zadra and other residences along the route) and the ancient Church of San Sabino, open for guided tours. Along the way, you'll find theatrical performances, dance shows, concerts, and refreshment points offering local flavors, in a series of stops designed for both adults and children.
From Sunrise to Evening Concert
The program is rich and spread over two days: from the "magic school" and Saturday afternoon shows to the walk towards the hill, from the observed sunrise on Sunday morning to guided nature excursions, from mass at San Sabino to book presentations, and finally, evening concerts. A photographic exhibition, open gardens and churches, and quizzes for children complete the offerings.
An Event to Rediscover the Euganean Hills
Organized by the Municipality of Torreglia, the Mira Festival is an invitation to experience the Euganean landscape slowly, amidst magic, culture, and nature. A shuttle service facilitates access for those who cannot manage the uphill walk, making the festival open to everyone, in the province of Padua.
Mira Festival — edition 2026
The 13th edition of the Mira Festival – Landscape Magic takes place in Torreglia on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2026. Along the accessible path leading up to Colle della Mira, starting from Via Mondonego opposite the parish church, there will be a succession of shows, concerts, walks, open villas and churches, and a photographic exhibition.
A shuttle service from Piazza Mercato (Saturday 5:00 PM-10:00 PM, Sunday 9:30 AM-10:00 PM) facilitates access for children, the elderly, and those who cannot manage the uphill section. All events are free admission.

- 3:00 PM — "Magic School" and magic show at Villa Zadra
- 5:00 PM — Walk towards Colle della Mira

- Sunrise — Sunrise observation on the hill
