MIND Festival, Montecosaro's Summer Music Event

MIND Festival is one of the most popular summer music events in the Marche region and takes place in Montecosaro, a small village in the province of Macerata overlooking the Chienti valley. What began in 2013 as an offshoot of the town's historic Beer Festival has become a true regional and national event over the years, capable of attracting around 40,000 attendees each edition over its evenings.

Where It Takes Place

The festival venue is the Antonio Mariotti Sports Field, located on Via Galileo Galilei in Montecosaro Scalo, which has been the stable home of the event since 2023. The large outdoor space can accommodate the main concert stages, as well as a food area capable of seating over a thousand people, dedicated gaming zones, and areas designed for children and families: MIND is not just about music, but a meeting place for the entire Macerata community.

A Lineup Spanning Genres

The distinctive feature of MIND Festival is its variety: over the years, the stage has hosted rock, indie, reggae, ska, electronic, pop, and rap artists, welcoming musicians who have become stars on the Italian and international scene. Among the names that have performed in Montecosaro are Mahmood, Marracash, Lacuna Coil, and Afterhours, as well as dance music stars like Steve Aoki, Alok, and Paul Van Dyk. This openness to different musical languages is what makes the festival a benchmark for a young and diverse audience.

The 2026 Edition

In 2026, MIND Festival will be held from July 29th to August 2nd, with a program that brings together leading artists of Italian indie and singer-songwriter music with major names in global electronic music. Ticketing is handled by the Ciaotickets network, with the option to purchase tickets for individual evenings or a Full Pass to experience the entire event.

More Than Just a Concert

Attending MIND also means discovering Montecosaro, a village listed among the most charming on the Macerata coast, and experiencing the hospitality of the Marche region, known for its excellent food and welcoming atmosphere. Between sets, the refreshment areas offer street food and local specialties, while the atmosphere remains informal and familial, like the great village festivals that have grown to become festivals.
