MIND Festival, Montecosaro's Summer Music Event

MIND Festival is one of the most anticipated summer music events in the Marche region, held in Montecosaro, a small town in the province of Macerata overlooking the Chienti valley. What began in 2013 as an offshoot of the town's historic Beer Festival has evolved over the years into a significant regional and national event, drawing approximately 40,000 attendees each edition across its evenings.

Event Location

The festival is held at the Antonio Mariotti Sports Field, located on Via Galileo Galilei in Montecosaro Scalo. This has been the stable venue for the event since 2023. The spacious outdoor area accommodates large concert stages, a food court seating over a thousand people, dedicated gaming zones, and areas for children and families. MIND is more than just music; it's a gathering place for the entire Macerata community.

A Lineup Spanning Genres

MIND Festival's distinctive feature is its variety. Over the years, its stage has hosted rock, indie, reggae, ska, electronic, pop, and rap artists, including prominent figures from the Italian and international music scenes. Past performers at Montecosaro include Mahmood, Marracash, Lacuna Coil, and Afterhours, as well as dance music stars like Steve Aoki, Alok, and Paul Van Dyk. This openness to diverse musical styles makes the festival a key destination for a young and broad audience.

The 2026 Edition

In 2026, MIND Festival will take place from July 29th to August 2nd, featuring a program that combines leading Italian indie and singer-songwriter artists with major international electronic music acts. Ticketing is managed through the Ciaotickets platform, offering options for single-evening tickets or a Full Pass for the entire event.

More Than Just Concerts

Attending MIND also means discovering Montecosaro, a village renowned as one of the most picturesque on the Macerata coast, and experiencing the renowned hospitality of the Marche region, with its excellent food and welcoming atmosphere. Between sets, the food areas offer street food and local specialties, all within an informal and friendly vibe, reminiscent of the large village festivals that have grown into major festivals.
