The military collectibles and antiques fair in the EUR district
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Militaria Roma is the fair dedicated to military collectibles and antiques that has been drawing enthusiasts of 20th-century history to the capital for several years. The event is a true exhibition and trade show: exhibitors and collectors meet for a day of buying, selling, researching, and exchanging items spanning two centuries of Italian and European military history.
Exhibitor tables feature everything from uniforms to insignia, tin toys to pennants, badges to documents, and vintage accessories to photographs, as well as medals, helmets, collar tabs, and, outdoors, historical military vehicles. There is no shortage of vintage books, postcards, and materials that allow for the reconstruction of units, campaigns, and uniformology. Some editions have also featured practical demonstrations, such as those dedicated to vintage radio equipment, which bring the public closer to the technical and daily aspects of military life.
The fair is held in Rome, in the Lazio region, within the spacious conference facilities of the Hotel Mercure Roma West, located at Viale Eroi di Cefalonia 301, in the EUR district. The exhibition area, spanning several hundred square meters, welcomes exhibitors from all over Italy and abroad, making Militaria Roma one of the most popular gatherings in central Italy for those interested in military history and collecting.
The event is managed by the Associazione Culturale La Storia, which coordinates the exhibitors and logistics. The simple and proven formula combines the commercial aspect of the trade show with the cultural dimension of historical dissemination, in a setting suitable for both expert collectors and curious visitors eager to connect with the memory of the 20th century.
For enthusiasts, Militaria Roma is the perfect opportunity to complete a collection, have an item appraised, or chat with fellow history buffs. For the casual visitor, it is a small, temporary, and widespread museum where every object tells a story: a direct and tangible way to explore Italian and European military history just a stone's throw from the center of Rome.
The 2026 edition of Militaria Roma is expected in Rome, in the Lazio region, at the Hotel Mercure Roma West, Viale Eroi di Cefalonia 301, in the EUR district. At the moment, the Associazione Culturale La Storia has not yet released the official date or details of the event; confirmation is expected in the weeks leading up to the event, following the usual autumn schedule.
The format will remain that of an exhibition and trade show: tables featuring exhibitors from all over Italy and abroad with uniforms, helmets, insignia, medals, documents, photographs, tin toys, and historical military vehicles.
