In Casaletto Ceredano, a municipality in the Province of Cremona nestled in the countryside of the Crema region, the Sagra di Sant'Orsola is the event that bids farewell to autumn. Organised by the Pro Loco Casaletto Ceredano, it traditionally takes place in the latter part of October and offers a programme that combines music, a market, popular games, and street food.

The evenings are dedicated to dancing, with orchestras animating the municipal gym and getting couples of all ages onto the dance floor, in the best tradition of Crema's festivals. On Sundays, along Via Garibaldi, the craft market comes alive with stalls from local exhibitors, while for children, the afternoon transforms into the "Paese dei balocchi", with bouncy castles, face painting, and soap bubbles.
The greased pole climbing
The most anticipated and traditional moment remains the greased pole climbing, revived every year with great enthusiasm: a challenge that draws a crowd and passes down an ancient popular game. Meanwhile, throughout the day, the flavours of the festival are present: grilled sausages, chips, and roasted chestnuts scent the village streets.
A festival with heart
Alongside the festival events, the parish hall often hosts a second-hand market whose proceeds are donated to charity. This is a characteristic that well reflects the spirit of the event: a village festival run by Pro Loco volunteers, which combines fun, tradition, and solidarity in the heart of the Province of Cremona.

The 2026 edition of the Sagra di Sant'Orsola renews the autumn appointment in Casaletto Ceredano, as part of the Pro Loco's upcoming initiatives. The popular programme includes, as usual, dancing evenings with an orchestra, the craft market along Via Garibaldi, children's activities in the "Paese dei balocchi", greased pole climbing, and festival flavours (grilled sausages, chips, roasted chestnuts).
The dates and detailed programme will be announced by the Pro Loco in the weeks preceding the event.

- Saturday evening — dancing evening with orchestra in the municipal gym (with buffet);
- Sunday — craft market with local exhibitors along Via Garibaldi;
- in the afternoon, children's activities "Paese dei balocchi" with bouncy castles, face painting, and soap bubbles;
- the traditional greased pole climbing;
- street food with grilled sausages, chips, and roasted chestnuts;
- in the evening, a second dancing event with orchestra in the gym.
