The melon takes center stage in Massanzago

In Massanzago, in the province of Padua, every July the melon becomes the king of the festival. The Sagra del Melone, in its 46th edition in 2026, is a historic event that celebrates an identity product of this part of the Venetian countryside, enhancing its freshness and the many ways to enjoy it. Since 2022, the festival has obtained Quality certification, a recognition of the community's commitment to its organization.

Tastings and Venetian cuisine

The heart of the festival is gastronomic: you can taste the fresh local melon, but also paired with dishes from Venetian cuisine, from the classic prosciutto and melon to artisanal melon ice cream. The stand also offers traditional specialties, in a journey of flavors that attracts visitors from all over the Padua region every year.

Music, market, and shows

A rich entertainment program revolves around the dining experience: concerts and tribute bands, DJ sets, the market exhibition, the charity raffle, and fireworks displays. The setting is the Villa Baglioni Park, a historic residence in Massanzago. Organized by the Pro Loco of Massanzago, the Sagra del Melone combines the promotion of a local product with a popular summer festival.
