Medese summer in the piazza

MEDAestate is the summer review of the Municipality of Meda, in the Province of Monza and Brianza, which enlivens the Wednesday evenings between late June and late July. The heart of the event is the pedestrian area between Piazza Cavour and Piazza Municipio, which for the occasion transforms into a large open-air stage. The event is organised by the Culture Office of the Municipality of Meda.

A varied programme

Every Wednesday offers something different: dance and theatre performances, musical tributes to great artists like Vasco Rossi, sports exhibitions and activities for children. A formula designed to please audiences of all ages and to offer citizens a reason to enjoy the city centre on summer evenings. Gastronomic services are provided by local traders, who help to liven up the evenings.

Between the squares and streets of the centre

Activities are spread across Piazza Cavour, Piazza Municipio and Via Solferino, enhancing the pedestrian area as a space for socialising. During the evenings, some traffic restrictions are in place, confirming how the entire area is returned to pedestrians and events for the entire duration of the review.

A container for the city

MEDAestate is more than just a review: it is a container that also hosts other events, such as the Young Summer Art Fest dedicated to young artists. In this way, Meda's summer programming becomes a mosaic of cultural and entertainment proposals, capable of enlivening the city centre and strengthening the bond of the Brianza community with its public spaces.
