The farmhouse festival

The Masciocco Festival takes place in the historic Cascina Masciocco in Camparada, a municipality in the province of Monza and Brianza. The farmhouse, a rural Lombard building with ancient origins, provides the setting for one of Brianza's most beloved gastronomic festivals, which returns every year around Ferragosto for five days of celebration.

The flavours of Brianza

The absolute star is traditional Brianza cuisine: on the table, cassoeula, tripe and buseca, venison with polenta, snails, grilled sausages and ribs, goat cheeses, and the 'torta paesana' (local cake). A robust and authentic menu that tells the story of Brianza's peasant civilisation and attracts gourmets from all over the area.

Volunteering and solidarity

The festival is the result of the work of about a hundred volunteers who bring the farmhouse to life. The spirit of the event is one of solidarity: the proceeds are donated to support projects and activities of local associations and organisations. A festival that combines good food, tradition, and social commitment.

A tradition that lasts over time

Now in its 43rd edition in 2025, the Masciocco Festival is a summer classic in Brianza. For five evenings, music and dancing accompany dinner, in a festive atmosphere that makes Camparada a delicious destination for Ferragosto in the province of Monza and Brianza.
