Marsican Truffle Gastronomic Evening

The fifteenth edition of the Marsican Truffle Gastronomic Evening took place in Santa Jona, a hamlet of Ovindoli (AQ), on July 27, 2025. Organized by the Pro Loco of Santa Jona, the summer event brought the flavors of the scorzone truffle to the streets of the Marsican village, serving as the star ingredient for first courses and local culinary specialties.

The evening followed the truffle-growing tradition that characterizes the territory: Santa Jona is home to the Marsica Truffle Hunters Association, which is committed to promoting the product and protecting the plateau's biodiversity. Conviviality, local products, and the atmosphere of the Abruzzese high-altitude villages accompanied one of the most well-attended editions of the event.
