A gastronomic walk through the hills of Recco and Sori
The Mangialonga in the Golfo Paradiso is a food and wine walk that winds through the hills of Recco and Sori, in the Metropolitan City of Genoa. The format, increasingly popular in Liguria, combines hiking with the discovery of local flavors: you walk along scenic trails and stop for tastings at each stage.
The route includes six gastronomic stops with local specialties — from focaccia to anchovies, from trofie al pesto to porchetta — accompanied by a selection of wines and beers. Each stop is an opportunity to savor a different traditional Ligurian dish, immersed in the green hinterland of the Golfo Paradiso.
The charm of the Mangialonga lies in the combination of landscape and cuisine: the trails connecting Recco to Sori offer glimpses of the sea and coastal villages, while the tastings tell the story of the gastronomic richness of this corner of the Riviera. A convivial outdoor experience, ideal for spring.
For 2026, the Mangialonga in the Golfo Paradiso is scheduled for April 25th, with the six-stage hiking and gastronomic route between Recco and Sori. Each stop offers a local specialty (focaccia, anchovies, trofie al pesto, porchetta) paired with selected wines and beers. Reservations open on March 1, 2026.
The detailed route and schedule will be communicated by the organizers. Reservations from March 1, 2026.
By train: Recco and Sori stations on the Genoa-La Spezia line. By car: Recco A12 exit. The route is for hiking: comfortable shoes suitable for trails are recommended.
Participation by reservation with a registration fee that includes tastings; reservations open from March.
