The Beer Festival of Malavicina

Malavicina is a hamlet of Roverbella, a municipality in the Alto Mantovano region of the province of Mantua. Here, in Piazzale Olimpia, the Malavicina Beer Fest comes to life in mid-May, a village beer festival organized by the Associazione Ruote di ieri. Four evenings where good food, beer, and music blend in the convivial spirit typical of the festivals of the Po Valley.

Food, Beer, and Lots of Music

The food stands are open every evening starting from 7:00 PM, while on Sundays, opening is brought forward to lunchtime, from 12:00 PM. Each evening has its own soundtrack: from DJ sets to the great hits of the past, with dance parties and DJ sets that get the crowd dancing late into the night. Beer, of course, is the star that gives the festival its name.

As an event organized by the Associazione Ruote di ieri, a touch of motoring was a must: Sunday is dedicated to the vintage motorcycle rally for 50cc and 125cc models, an event that attracts enthusiasts and collectors and offers a trip back to the models that made two-wheeled history.
