The Magical Carnival is the event that, every February, fills the central Piazza della Vittoria in San Giuliano Milanese, a municipality in the metropolitan city of Milan, with confetti and masks. Organized by the Municipal Culture Office, the event is designed as a widespread celebration for families, where children are the true protagonists.

A celebration for all generations

The municipal administration has always wanted a Carnival capable of "uniting different generations" and creating an atmosphere of joy and sharing. The afternoon in the square alternates entertainment, games, music, and moments of fun suitable for both adults and children, in an informal and welcoming atmosphere typical of the South Milanese town festivals.

The children's mask contest

The heart of the event is the contest for the most creative and original mask for children aged 6 to 12. In the afternoon, a jury awards the most imaginative costumes, valuing the creativity of the little ones. In the days leading up to Carnival, the "Let's Color Carnival" workshops at Spazio Vivo and SpazioCultura help children prepare themed decorations.
