A Month of Celebration in the Saccisica

Maggio Pontelongano is the major event that enlivens Pontelongo, a municipality in the Saccisica area of the Padua province, throughout the month of May. More than just a local festival, it's a distributed calendar of events that takes over the entire Event Area of the town, organized by Pro Loco Pontelongo APS with the patronage of the Municipality.

Culture, Engines, and Tradition

The program intertwines different genres and audiences: art exhibitions, vintage and craft markets, evenings with DJs and live music, theatre performances, and days dedicated to families. Among the most anticipated events is MOTORFEST XXL, featuring an exhibition of cars, motorcycles, trucks, and tractors, along with stunt driver demonstrations, truly the engine-focused day of the festival.

Faith, River, and Community

The connection to the town's tradition is evident in the Festa del Voto, with its procession and flower carpet on the municipal bridge, and in the arrival of the Remada a Seconda, a boat descent along the region's rivers that stops in Pontelongo. The Pro Loco's food stalls, open on weekends, complete the offering with traditional Venetian cuisine. Maggio Pontelongano has thus become the town's defining event, successfully uniting culture, religious tradition, engines, and social life in a single month of celebration.
