The 2025 festival in Giuliano di Roma

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, on the eve of the patronal feast, Piazza Borgo Vittorio Emanuele filled up for the most anticipated event of the Giuliano summer. From 8:00 PM, Pro Loco volunteers served maccaruni cu gli feri, the water-and-flour pasta hand-rolled around a metal rod, accompanied by traditional Ciociaria sides and desserts.

The edition coincided with the fiftieth anniversary of the Pro Loco, celebrated in the summer of 2025 with a series of initiatives dedicated to the history, customs, and traditions of the town. Among the evening's novelties was the setup of a gluten-free stand, designed to make the dish accessible to everyone. Local news highlighted the value of a tradition «passed down for generations in respect of local values and culture», anticipating by a few months the PAT recognition obtained from the Lazio Region in February 2026.
