Electronic music and avant-garde art in the world's largest labyrinth
LOST Music Festival is one of the most original events on the Italian electronic scene. It takes place in Fontanellato, a small municipality in the province of Parma in Emilia-Romagna, inside the Labyrinth of Masone: with its seven hectares and over 200,000 bamboo plants, it is the largest labyrinth in the world, conceived and designed by publisher and collector Franco Maria Ricci. It is precisely this extraordinary setting that makes LOST an experience impossible to replicate elsewhere.
Promoted by the Franco Maria Ricci Foundation and artistically directed by Luca Giudici, LOST celebrates the most avant-garde musical expressions through a careful selection of Italian and international artists. The program alternates electronic live sets, hybrid sets, and DJ sets, with a particular focus on projects conceived in extended or site-specific form, designed specifically to interact with the park's spaces. Each edition features numerous world premieres and Italian debuts, confirming the festival's commitment to discovery and experimentation.
In addition to the musical programming, LOST is an all-round immersive experience: among the bamboo corridors, you'll find art installations, a record market, areas dedicated to artist merchandise, and non-musical activities designed to enrich your stay. The option to camp near the performance spaces allows you to experience the festival seamlessly, from sunset into the night, when the labyrinth reveals its most mysterious and esoteric side.
Over the years, LOST has carved out a unique niche in the calendar of European festivals dedicated to avant-garde music, attracting a curious and international audience. The setting of the Labyrinth of Masone, a few kilometers from Parma and the famous Rocca Sanvitale of Fontanellato, makes this event an unmissable destination for those seeking more than just a concert: a total immersion in music, art, and nature in the heart of Emilia-Romagna.
The V Edition of LOST Music Festival confirms itself as one of the most anticipated events for lovers of avant-garde electronic music. From July 3rd to 5th, 2026, the Labyrinth of Masone in Fontanellato hosts over thirty Italian and international artists, with numerous world premieres and Italian debuts. The program alternates electronic live sets, hybrid sets, and DJ sets, many of which are conceived in extended or site-specific form to interact with the park's seven hectares of bamboo. In addition to music, the festival offers a record market curated by Box Of Tangerine, merchandising areas, and an expanded campsite near the performance spaces.
