Vintage Cars in Mortara
Lomellina Classic is a gathering and elegance competition dedicated to vintage cars and motorcycles, held in Mortara (Province of Pavia), in the heart of Lomellina. Historic vehicles are exhibited in Piazza Monsignor Dughera, in the picturesque setting between the Basilica of San Lorenzo and the town hall, where a jury evaluates them, awarding about ten prizes.
A Journey Through the Rice Fields
After the exhibition, participants embark on a route of about twenty kilometers through the rice fields of Lomellina towards Candia, with a stop at the Narciso Cassino Museum, which houses the sculptor's plaster casts. The final stop is in Breme, for lunch in the cloister of the Abbey of San Pietro, founded in 929. In the afternoon, the awards ceremony takes place, with the presentation of the prestigious "Lions Best in Show" award.

Organized by the Lions Club Mortara Mede Host in collaboration with the Lions Club Lomellina Host, Lomellina Classic combines the passion for historic vehicles with a charitable purpose, in the Lions' style. The rice fields of Lomellina provide an ideal backdrop for the splendid cars, in an event that blends elegance, local culture, and solidarity, in the Municipality of Mortara.
Lomellina Classic — edition 2026
The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday, April 12, in Mortara. Vintage cars and motorcycles are exhibited in Piazza Monsignor Dughera from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, evaluated by a jury that awards about ten prizes. This is followed by a route of about twenty kilometers towards Candia (with a stop at the Narciso Cassino Museum) and Breme, where lunch is planned in the cloister of the Abbey of San Pietro. From 4:00 PM, the awards ceremony with the "Lions Best in Show" award takes place. Organized by Lions Club Mortara Mede Host and Lomellina Host, with charitable purposes.
