Vigevano's Literary Festival
The Literary Review of the City of Vigevano is the autumn event that dedicates the heart of the city to books and ideas. Promoted by the Municipality of Vigevano and directed by Ermanno Paccagnini, the event brings together meetings with authors, conferences, and debates spread over five days, built around an annual theme that acts as a compass for the entire program.
2026 Theme: "Visions"
The 2026 edition, the twenty-fifth, revolves around the word "Visions": the ability to imagine, read, and interpret the present and the future. The theme explores what was once considered utopian and then became reality, as well as emerging phenomena with almost prophetic force, from artificial intelligence to new perceptions of innovation in daily life.
A Quarter Century of Culture
With twenty-five editions behind it, the Review is now one of the cultural institutions of the Municipality of Vigevano (Province of Pavia). The 2026 edition was announced by the municipal administration, which confirms the festival's vocation to question the present through literature and public discussion with writers and scholars.

The 2026 edition of the Literary Review of the City of Vigevano, the twenty-fifth, takes place from October 14 to 18 with the theme "Visions". The common thread explores the faculty of imagining and reading the present and the future, from utopias that have become reality to phenomena emerging with prophetic force, with particular attention to artificial intelligence. The review was announced by the municipal administration.
