The Abbiategrasso Regional Agricultural Fair is one of the oldest agricultural fairs in the Metropolitan City of Milan: with over five hundred editions to its name, it is rooted in a centuries-old history tied to the rural vocation of the Lombard plain, along the Ticino Park. It is held every year in October, coinciding with the town's patron saint's day, the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows, celebrated on the third Sunday of the month.
