About LETO Festival

In May, Olgiate Comasco, in the province of Como, hosts the LETO Festival, three days dedicated to youth cultures, participation, and contemporary artistic production. Art, theatre, dance, and music workshops, an immersive exhibition on mental health, evening concerts, and DJ sets animate the Centro Congressi Medioevo and the Parco di Villa Camilla. A free-admission festival, conceived and built by local youth, that focuses on creativity, well-being, and civic engagement.

A festival made by young people

The LETO Festival in Olgiate Comasco, in the province of Como, is an event entirely dedicated to youth cultures, participation, and contemporary artistic production. Born from the initiative of local young people, it is promoted by YouthBank of the Fondazione Provinciale della Comunitร  Comasca, with the support of the Municipality and the SMART Giovani program of Regione Lombardia.

Workshops, art, and well-being

The program combines artistic and sports workshops, theatre and dance performances, live music, and DJ sets. Among the highlights are the immersive exhibition 30 senza Lode, dedicated to the theme of youth mental health, and workshops on percussion, mindful dance, and theatrical improvisation. An offering that combines creativity and reflection, designed to actively involve the audience.

Spaces and numbers of a community

The festival takes place between the Centro Congressi Medioevo and the Parco di Villa Camilla, two symbolic locations in Olgiate Comasco. Behind the event is a true community network: dozens of stands, numerous partner organizations, many young people involved in planning, and school programs reaching hundreds of students. With free admission, the LETO Festival confirms itself as a successful experiment in grassroots participation and culture in the Como area.
