Ledro Music Award

A new stage for emerging music in the Ledro Valley

The Ledro Music Award was launched in the summer of 2026 as a competitive music contest aimed at emerging groups and artists from Trentino. The initiative is promoted by the Pro Loco of Pieve di Ledro, a village and seat of the Municipality of Ledro, in the province of Trento, within the Trentino-Alto Adige region. With the slogan "The stage is calling. Pieve di Ledro answers," the project aims to showcase local musical creativity and provide a platform for new artistic talent, blending music, community, and engagement in one of the most picturesque valleys of the Garda Trentino area.

How the contest works

Interested bands and musicians can apply via the official contest website. Following the registration and selection phase, the admitted groups perform live during the final evening in front of an audience and a jury composed of music industry professionals and local community figures. The live talent show format focuses on the stage performance, offering emerging artists a concrete opportunity for visibility and feedback.

The Jury

The jury for the 2026 edition brings together diverse expertise:

• Francesco Camin, singer-songwriter, musician, and performer;
• Fabio Desanti, music journalist;
• Maria Teresa Toniatti, councilor of the Municipality of Ledro;
• Fausto Tarolli, musician, DJ, and board member of the Pro Loco of Pieve di Ledro.

The Prizes

The prize pool is designed to provide tangible support for the winners' growth:

• a professional recording session at the Metro Rec studio in Riva del Garda;
• a live performance at the Fiera di San Michele, a historic local event in the Ledro area;
• a voucher for the purchase of musical instruments.

The Ledro Music Award is part of a summer season packed with events organized by the Pro Loco of Pieve di Ledro, including themed evenings, musical tributes, traditional gatherings, and cultural initiatives. The contest is the highlight of the 2026 program and confirms the town's musical vocation.
