Jazz in the heart of Lecco
The Lecco Jazz Festival is the summer event that brings great international jazz to the town on Lake Como. The main venue is the Teatro della Società, the historic Italian-style theatre in Piazza Garibaldi, recently restored, which provides an elegant setting for the headline performances. Promoted by the Fondazione Teàrte with the support of local institutions, the festival reaches its 11th edition in 2026.
An international lineup
The 2026 program features top names on the world stage: from the legendary drummer Billy Cobham, a pioneer of jazz-fusion, to soul singer Judith Hill, who has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and Prince, as well as saxophonist Jowee Omicil and drummer Roberto Gatto with his tribute to Miles Davis and John Coltrane. The lineup spans from classic jazz to fusions with soul, funk, and Afrobeat.
Free scattered concerts
Alongside the main evenings, the festival offers scattered concerts: free late-afternoon events that bring music to the city's squares and spaces, featuring quality musicians like Francesco Bearzatti and Antonio Zambrini. This is how Lecco Jazz expands its audience and enlivens the city center.

The Lecco Jazz Festival is part of a rich cultural summer for the city, continuing with a "Fuori Festival" (Off-Festival) of events in the following weeks. It is now a well-established event that makes Lecco, in the Province of Lecco and the Lombardy Region, a destination for fans of improvised music.
Lecco Jazz — edition 2026
The Lecco Jazz Festival 2026, its eleventh edition, will be held from July 8th to 11th at Lecco's Teatro della Società, organized by Fondazione Teàrte with support from the Chamber of Commerce of Como-Lecco.
The main lineup features four internationally renowned evenings, complemented by free scattered concerts in the late afternoon and a "Fuori Festival" (Off-Festival) of events in the following weeks. Season tickets are available from June 3rd, and individual tickets from June 12th.

How to get here
The Teatro della Società is located in Piazza Garibaldi, in the center of Lecco, a few minutes from the train station. The city is reachable by train from Milan and Bergamo and by car via the SS36.
Tickets
Season tickets go on sale from June 3rd, individual tickets from June 12th, at the theatre's ticket office, on Vivaticket, and online. The free late-afternoon scattered concerts are free to enter.
