Le Vie del Miele

The 2025 edition of Le Vie del Miele was held on September 6 and 7 in the Villa Comunale of Melendugno, included in the BluFestival program organized by the Municipal Administration together with the Association of Beekeepers of Melendugno and Borgagne.

The program offered quality honey tastings with guided sensory analysis of Apulian monofloral and wildflower honeys, workshops for making beeswax candles, a honey bar, and honey-based sweet and savory dishes proposed by local restaurateurs. There was no shortage of live music, children's entertainment, and stands featuring typical products and Salento handicrafts.

Mayor Maurizio Cisternino emphasized how the festival combines "tradition and territorial marketing," while the president of the beekeepers, Pierluigi Petrachi, reiterated the commitment to relaunching the beekeeping sector by pairing it with typical Salento products. The event confirmed Melendugno as the only Città del Miele in Puglia.
