Le Stelle delle Torri: the awards of Rome's eastern suburbs
Le Stelle delle Torri is the annual awards ceremony promoted by Municipio VI of Rome Capital, known as the Municipio delle Torri (District of the Towers), the most populous district in the capital and one of the largest in the Lazio region. Each year, the municipal administration dedicates a day to local excellence: individuals, associations, and organizations that, with passion and community spirit, contribute to the growth of this vast area on the eastern outskirts of Rome.
Recognizing local excellence
The event honors those who have excelled in various fields: sports, including young athletes who have won European and world titles; culture and the arts; music and dance; social work and volunteering; legality and security, with awards for law enforcement; as well as healthcare and local businesses. It is a way to say thank you to those who, often away from the spotlight, bring prestige to their neighborhood every day.
Where it takes place
The ceremony is held in the Borghesiana district, at the My Vida Events venue, located at Via Torregrotta 16. Municipio VI includes areas such as Tor Bella Monaca, Torre Angela, Borghesiana, Tor Vergata, and Torre Maura, a territory inhabited by hundreds of thousands of residents who find here an opportunity for gathering and collective pride.
The editions
Growing year by year, the event reached its third edition in 2025 with about one hundred awardees, and its fourth edition in March 2026. Past recipients have included sports champions, artists, doctors, Red Cross and civil protection volunteers, Carabinieri commanders, and State Police officers.
A moment of community
More than just an awards ceremony, Le Stelle delle Torri has become a defining event for the Municipio delle Torri: an occasion where the associative, sporting, and social fabric of the territory recognizes itself and shares its stories, highlighting the positive aspects of a part of Rome too often defined only by its challenges.
Le Stelle delle Torri — edition 2026
The 4th edition of Le Stelle delle Torri confirmed the format of previous years: an afternoon entirely dedicated to the people and organizations that bring prestige to Municipio VI Roma delle Torri. The municipal administration presented awards to local excellence in various categories, from sports to culture, music to social work, and healthcare to legality.
The event was held in Borghesiana, at the My Vida Events venue, in the presence of municipal authorities and numerous citizens, associations, and families of the awardees.
