Every year in early July, Agriturismo La Piantata in Arlena di Castro—nestled in the heart of the Tuscia Viterbese region (Lazio)—celebrates the peak of the lavender bloom with the Lavender Festival. For three days, the vast purple expanse cultivated on the volcanic hills of northern Lazio becomes the backdrop for one of the most anticipated sensory events of the summer season.

La Piantata is renowned far beyond regional borders for its organic lavender fields and its famous treehouses tucked away in the countryside. • Sunset aperitifs in the fields and by the pool, accompanied by aerial performances;
