The Larino Luminarie — Magic of Lights transform the historic centre of the Frentanian town, in the province of Campobasso, into a Christmas path of lights and wonder. Between December and January, the medieval streets of the village are filled with artistic light installations and family attractions.
Attractions and Markets
The programme includes Santa Claus and the Grinch's village, hobby, craft, and local product markets, street food, fireworks displays, live music, an ice-skating rink, the Ferris wheel, a carousel, and a nativity scene exhibition. An offering designed for adults and children that enlivens the centre of Larino throughout the holiday season.
Most Anticipated Moments
Special events include Santa Claus's descent from the bell tower on December 26th and the Befana's descent on January 6th, which closes the season. The event takes place on selected days starting from 5:00 PM.
Larino Luminarie — edition 2026
The 2025-2026 season of «Magic of Lights» illuminated the historic centre of Larino on numerous days between December and January. After the inauguration on December 6th and Santa Claus's descent from the bell tower on December 26th, the final events on January 1, 3, 4, and 6, 2026 closed the Christmas path with the traditional Befana's descent.
