Every February, for Saint Valentine's Day, Valeggio sul Mincio participates in the Lake Garda in Love event, a festival that paints eleven localities around Lake Garda red. Among the most popular events is CarneValès in Piazza Carlo Alberto, with magic shows, creative workshops, games, entertainment, clowns, and a costume contest for children, accompanied by Sossole and hot chocolate. The themed market Valeggio sul Mincio in Love winds through the historic center, with dedicated stalls.
Wine Tourism and Experiences for Couples
The Custoza area offers wine tourism experiences dedicated to couples: from the "Happy Valentine Experience" to "San Valentino Rosé," local wineries open their doors for sensory tastings. Organized by the Pro Loco, the event highlights Valeggio sul Mincio as a romantic destination in the heart of Veneto, amidst villages, wine, and gastronomic tradition.

The 2026 edition of Lago di Garda in Love in Valeggio sul Mincio took place on Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15, within the regional circuit (February 13-15). The village was painted red for the most romantic weekend of the year.
On Saturday afternoon, CarneValès enlivened Piazza Carlo Alberto, while over the two days, the themed market Valeggio sul Mincio in Love colored the historic center. The local wineries offered wine tourism experiences for couples.
