The race, part of the UCI ProSeries circuit, covers a challenging route of approximately 192 kilometers, starting from Albenga and finishing in Laigueglia. The climbs and final circuits make the race selective and spectacular, ideal for classic riders and climbers.
With over sixty years of history, the Laigueglia Trophy has seen some of the biggest names in world cycling triumph. The race is a regular fixture for enthusiasts and an important tourist showcase for Laigueglia and the entire Riviera di Ponente, which embraces the event every year.
The 63rd edition of the Laigueglia Trophy takes place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, effectively opening the European top cycling season. The race, valid for the UCI ProSeries circuit, features a route of approximately 192 kilometers starting from Albenga and finishing in Laigueglia.
24 teams are expected at the start, with around 160 riders, including World Tour and Professional teams, on a selective course that favors climbers and classic specialists.
