La Notte dei Grani 2025
The second edition of La Notte dei Grani was held on August 22, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM, throughout the streets and courtyards of Villa Baldassarri, a village in the municipality of Guagnano, Province of Lecce. The central theme was food as memory, a community narrative, and a driver for sustainable local development.
Guests of the evening included Daniele De Michele, known as Don Pasta, who led a talk and a performance dedicated to cooking as a collective story, and musician Mauro Lazzari of Santi Paduli. The program alternated between workshops, meetings, shows, and live music, with a live set that brought the village night to life. There was a strong emphasis on local gastronomy, with pittule, fried calzoni, charcuterie and cheese boards, and various bread varieties—from Senatore Cappelli grain to buckwheat—in a journey celebrating community ovens and traditional Salento baking.
