Pesaro's historic centre becomes the kingdom of the little ones
La Mezzanotte Bianca dei Bambini is one of the most anticipated events of the Pesaro summer: for an entire weekend, the historic centre of Pesaro, the capital of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region, transforms into an immense child-friendly space. From the early evening hours until midnight, squares, streets, and courtyards fill with workshops, shows, games, and entertainment, in a format that has won over thousands of families over the years.
The pulsating heart of the event is Piazza del Popolo, with its main stage, but the festival radiates throughout the centre: from historic buildings like Palazzo Gradari and Palazzo Ratti, to the city museums, up to the squares and streets of the centre. Every corner hosts a different activity, so children can wander from one surprise to another accompanied by their parents.
Born as a "white night" dedicated to children, the event has grown edition after edition to become a multi-day event, promoted by the Municipality of Pesaro together with the city's associative and commercial realities. Admission to all activities is free, confirming the popular and family-oriented nature of the festival, which attracts visitors from all over the Province and beyond every summer.
La Mezzanotte Bianca dei Bambini 2026 returns to Pesaro from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June, once again transforming the historic centre into a large space dedicated to children and families. The dates have been officially confirmed by the Municipality of Pesaro, which has opened the call for sponsors for the event, describing it as "the most important and beautiful event dedicated to children and families".
For 2026 too, the festival will offer workshops, shows, games, and entertainment distributed in the squares and streets of the centre, with Piazza del Popolo as the main hub. The detailed programme, with times, artists, and activities, is traditionally released in the weeks preceding the event.
The detailed programme for the 2026 edition has not yet been published. The Municipality of Pesaro will release it in the weeks before the event (usually in June) on the official website and social media channels of the festival.
Based on previous editions, the festival typically unfolds as follows:
Activities generally take place from 6:00 PM until midnight.
Three consecutive evenings of celebration, from 26 to 28 June 2026, with Pesaro's historic centre entirely dedicated to children. Free admission to all activities and shows. The 2026 edition is announced as "even richer" by the Municipality of Pesaro.
From 26 to 28 June 2026, typically from 6:00 PM until midnight.
Historic centre of Pesaro: Piazza del Popolo and the surrounding streets and squares.

Pesaro is accessible from the Pesaro-Urbino exit of the A14 motorway and the train station, a few minutes' walk from the historic centre. During the event, traffic restrictions are in place in the central area: using peripheral car parks is recommended.
Event designed for children and families; a stroller is recommended for the little ones given the large pedestrian area.
