A journey into wine at Villa Farsetti

La Grande Festa del Vino transforms the monumental spaces of Villa Farsetti, in Santa Maria di Sala (province of Venice), into a large, spread-out wine shop for a weekend. Organized by Enoteca Le Cantine dei Dogi, the event offers a vast selection of wines for tasting, the result of research spanning all Italian regions and numerous countries worldwide.

Thousands of labels to taste

The festival offers the public over 8,000 bottles and hundreds of labels available for tasting, presented by about 140 exhibitors. From great Italian reds to Champagnes, from international white wines to the most sought-after productions, the offering covers 26 countries and allows for comparisons between styles, grape varieties, and territories that are difficult to replicate elsewhere.

Masterclasses with iconic wines

The program includes masterclasses led by experts, dedicated to some of the world's most prestigious labels — from Krug to Dom Pérignon, from Sassicaia to great gourmet reds. Tasting is done via the Wine Card, with a professional glass included, and concludes with a gala dinner on Saturday evening.

Wine culture between Venice and Padua

Located halfway between Venice and Padua, the event combines oenological discovery with the enhancement of one of the most fascinating Venetian villas in the area, confirming itself as a benchmark event for enthusiasts throughout the Veneto region.
