La Cinisara 2025: Three days dedicated to the "Black Queen of Sicily"

The 2025 edition of La Cinisara took place in Cinisi, in the Metropolitan City of Palermo, on Saturday, September 13, Sunday, September 14, and Sunday, September 21, from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

On September 13, between Corso Umberto I and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele Orlando, the event opened with the conference "La Cinisara, Cinisara Pride" at the Palazzo dei Benedettini Municipal Hall, followed by thematic exhibitions, video projections on pastoral culture, the "Black Queen" parade, tastings of fiordilatte gelato and ricotta, showcooking, milking demonstrations, and a concert by Daria Biancardi.

Sunday, September 14, featured the opening of the craft expo, a Vespa Club rally, further milking demonstrations, tastings of cannoli and typical products made from Cinisara milk and meat, showcooking with Sicilian chefs, musical performances, and family entertainment.

On Sunday, September 21, on Via della Libertà in Contrada Piano Napoli, the Cinisara Cattle Trade Fair was held, including the presentation of the book "Chianchi e chianchieri di vacca cinisara" by Alessio Palazzolo, meat and ricotta tastings, folk performances, and expert talks.
