Knödelfest Sterzing – Vipiteno Dumpling Festival

The 2025 Dumpling Festival was held on Sunday, September 14, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in the historic center of Vipiteno. The customary 400-meter-long table stretched through the Old Town, the New Town, and the main square, offering over 70 varieties of dumplings: from speck to alpine cheese, mountain herbs to mushrooms, and sweet proposals with apricots, ricotta, and nougat. The day was accompanied by musical performances in various parts of the town and festivities at the Monte Cavallo mountain huts. The event, with free admission, has been organized for over twenty years by the Vipiteno – Val di Vizze – Campo di Trens Tourist Board together with participating restaurateurs.
