The 2025 Käsefestival in Campo Tures

In March 2025, the historic center of Campo Tures/Sand in Taufers, in the Ahrntal valley (Province of Bolzano), once again hosted the Cheese Festival, now firmly set for the third weekend of March. For three days, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, over 100 producers from South Tyrol, Italy, and much of Europe presented nearly 1,000 cheese specialties, accompanied by numerous other typical products such as chocolate, bread, oil, herbs, wine, grappa, and speck.

The program featured cooking shows by the South Tyrolean Chefs' Association, guided tastings in collaboration with Slow Food, and a rich children's program with interactive workshops. In 2024, Campo Tures had been awarded the title of ONAF Cheese City, a recognition that further strengthened the dairy identity of the town and its surrounding hamlets, which participated in the Specialty Weeks during the 2025 edition.
